VILLA HAIKARA
Villa Haikara is an ideal place to spend holiday all year round. A log cottage full of light has 108 m2 of space and is equipped with all modern conveniences. It is located by a beautiful lake Vanajavesi which is rich in fish. Cottage enjoys a central location in Iittala, part of Hämeenlinna city, just a five kilometer drive from the motorway. You can follow events in the nature and just enjoy the surrounding landscape. The large lake enables good possibilities for fishing, swimming and rowing. The location is also perfect for picking berries and mushrooms. There are also a variety of birds to be observed and heard, such as swan, osprey and bittern. White-tailed deer is a common guest in the cottage yard. You can also go walking along the near roads and just enjoy the traditional country site. In winter time you will find ski track in the front of the cottage. Several leisure activities and amenities can be reached easily from the cottage. There is only 5 km to Iittala village where you can find basic amenities. In Hämeenlinna city, about half an hour drive, you can find many interesting things to see and a wide range of activities. A big shopping centre, Ideapark, is only 35 minutes drive away from the cottage.
